Return Policy
I accept returns on all Ready to Ship covers.
I can’t stress enough the importance of taking time to measure your appliances before purchasing a cover. *Don’t use sizes you got off websites. I've noticed customers who borrow sizes from websites tend to be the unhappy ones.
Anything monogrammed with customer name or initials or personalized is not returnable/refundable.
In the event a cover is returnable my shop policy is buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. This means I do not reimburse for postage. The reason why is once the postage is spent I can't recover that cost from USPS.
I also don't refund postage costs because once it's spent I can't recover it from USPS.
If a cover is returnable, contact me within 3 days of delivery. Ship items back to me within 7 days of delivery.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged - Custom orders, monogrammed or personalized, washed and dried covers, and stained covers are not returnable.

Alterations policy
It's best to contact me with your size concerns.
When it becomes necessary to rip a cover(s) completely apart I charge $10 an hour + return postage to do alterations after an item has shipped. *I don't alter zipper toaster and zipper appliance covers.
If the cover is too small or too short a return/refund an exchange for a ready made cover could be an option.

Where do I enter my coupon code in the checkout?
The coupon code box is on the the final screen in checkout. Scroll down and look on the bottom left side.

What form of payments do I accept?
Etsy's checkout will process all major credit and debit cards. They also offer buyer and seller protection. Pay Pal is also accepted through the Etsy checkout.

Etsy will guarantee buyer protection under certain conditions.
I have copied and pasted their policy set June 5, 2017 as follows:
"You can take advantage of the Etsy Purchase Guarantee to get the item you ordered or your money back if you don’t receive an item (non-delivery) or your item is not as described.

Exchanges Policy -
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
We can minimize the need for returns and exchanges when you measure your appliances yourself before ordering. Don't use measurements borrowed from a website. Customers who borrow measurements are usually the unhappy ones.

No Rush Orders
Rush orders aren't practical in my handmade process. They're also not fair to the customers who have already taken the time to place prepaid orders.
To help expedite an order, Priority and Express Mail options are an option if you talk to me prior to placing your order. I highly recommend using spending money on one of those services versus paying a rush order fee.

What happens if my package doesn't arrive or it goes missing?
I have a 7 step process we'll use to locate your purchase with the help of USPS.

Non-Delivery

A non-delivery occurs when you place an order and submit payment but do not receive your item. The following are examples of non-delivery cases:

An item was never sent.
An item was not sent to the address provided on Etsy.
There is no proof that the item was shipped to your address.
Not as Described

An item is not as described if it is materially different from the listing description or photos. The following are examples of not as described cases:

The item received is a different color, model, version, or size than is shown in the photo or described in the listing.
The item has a different design or material.
The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic.
The seller failed to disclose the fact that an item is damaged or is missing parts.
The quantity of items you ordered was not what you received. For example, you purchased three items but only received two.
The condition of the item is misrepresented. For example, the description at the time of purchase said the item was "new" and the item is used.
Not as described cases can also be filed for late delivery. In order to qualify as late delivery, you must provide proof that all of these conditions have been met:
The item(s) were ordered for a specific date or event.
A deadline was agreed upon by the buyer and seller.
The item(s) are rendered useless after that date.

How to Use Etsy Purchase Guarantee Benefits

We recommend that you first contact the seller directly to try to reach a resolution. Most sellers have their own shop policies and are eager to address issues like these.

If you've reached out to the seller and haven't heard back, or if you're unable to resolve your issue together, you can file what's known as a "case." Click here to read more about Etsy's case system.

As long as you participate in the case and follow Etsy admin instructions, we'll work to make sure that you receive either the item that you ordered or a full refund of the purchase price and original shipping costs.

"Can we just skip the website and I'll call in my order and you take my credit card information? "
Sorry, no. If you found me on Etsy, you'll have to purchase from me on Etsy. Etsy can process credit and debit cards. And for your peace of mind, I don't have access to your credit card number.

How do I redeem an Etsy gift card?
My answer is copied and pasted from Etsy's own policy.

"Etsy Gift Cards can be redeemed to buy items from participating shops. The item listing and your shopping cart will note whether the shop accepts Etsy Gift Cards as payment. You can filter Search and Browse results to find items from participating shops."

"In order to use an Etsy Gift Card to purchase items on Etsy, you must be a registered Etsy member and redeem the unique code to apply the Etsy Gift Card value to your account’s gift card balance. Learn more about redeeming an Etsy Gift Card here. You may not redeem an Etsy Gift Card that you have purchased. Once an Etsy Gift Card code has been redeemed, it cannot be returned for cash value or transferred to another account."

"In the event your order total is less than your existing gift card balance, the remainder of the balance will stay in your account’s gift card balance to be used for future purchases. You may use your gift card balance toward orders from participating shops on Etsy."

"In the event your order total is more than your existing gift card balance, the remainder of your order total must be paid with a credit card through Etsy’s Direct Checkout. "

"At checkout, you have the option to apply your gift card balance to eligible orders. Your gift card balance cannot be used to pay an Etsy bill, buy another Etsy Gift Card, or make a purchase from a shop that does not accept Direct Checkout."

Is there a secure checkout?
Answer - I copied and pasted Etsy's direct checkout policy -

"All credit card information sent to Etsy is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL), and once received, it is stored in a PCI compliant environment. This data is not shared between buyers and sellers.

Etsy follows generally accepted industry standards to protect other personal information that's submitted to us, both during transmission and after Etsy receives it.

Etsy has security measures in place to reduce risk and manage any suspicious activity that may occur with payments made through Direct Checkout. All Direct Checkout payments are screened for fraud and available funds.

For buyers, Etsy covers the full purchase price and original shipping costs with a $1,000 USD coverage limit on qualifying Direct Checkout orders."
